“It was an incredible cooperation between the engine department, the transmission department and the supplier to make it occur.
“If you write the time needed to make these gears, make the part collector and grinding the timing rollers, should you use all standard delivery times, it’s unimaginable, so we actually needed to get some favor and tricks to do that. This shows our engineers and our designers that this happened.
“If you’ve gotten a smaller restriction, your engine characteristics change mainly across the range of rotation, so using RPM lower than before, which affects the engine tuning, so the engine jokes have been modified on the last minute.
