Both Super Formula and SUPER GT will expand their calendars beyond Japan in 2025, adding one international stop each.
The fourth round of Super Formula will happen June 6-8 at an undisclosed location in South Korea. The likely venue for the primary overseas race in greater than twenty years will probably be the Inje Speedium circuit on the outskirts of Seoul.
Japan's premier racing automobile championship had previously signed a three-year cope with the Inje circuit from 2013, but the primary of the scheduled races was cancelled only a month before the scheduled date.
The 2004 trip to the Sepang International Circuit stays the one successful Super Formula (and its predecessor Formula Nippon) event outside Japan.
The visit to South Korea will probably be the highlight of an eight-round Super Formula series for the 2025 season, which is able to start and finish at Suzuka.
However, although Suzuka Circuit is all for supporting the Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix, the 2 Super Formula races at Mie will probably be held as separate events.
The season opener will happen on March 7-9, followed by races in Motegi and Autopolis in April and May.
Following the June event in Korea, Super Formula will make two more visits to Fuji Speedway, in July and October, with a race in between in Sugo from August 8-10.
The season will conclude with a final visit to Suzuka on 21-23 November, marking a comparatively late end to the campaign.

Meanwhile, SUPER GT has signed a deal to host the race in Malaysia in 2025, which will probably be a part of an eight-round calendar.
The Sepang circuit will host the third round of the 2025 SUPER GT season on 27-28 June, after previous efforts to return to Malaysia were scuppered by the pandemic.
The track, situated just behind Kuala Lumpur Airport, was a fixture on the racing calendar from 2002 to 2013 and was added back to the schedule in 2020 as an evening race, but travel restrictions forced promoter GTA to release a revised schedule.
2019 is the last 12 months that SUPER GT held a world event as a part of its annual visit to Thailand.
The Buriram circuit has fallen victim to the pandemic and has been faraway from the SUPER GT schedule entirely, despite initially being included within the 2021 schedule.
