“I am excited to be part of the Abel Motorsports family at Force Indy for the 2025 season!” Rowe said.

“Not only did Abel demonstrate great skill, but he was also highly respected by the IndyCar community. It's an honor to represent them and Force Indy on this journey. I want to thank HMD Motorsports and (team owner) Henry Malukas for supporting me to get off to a good start at this level of racing.”

In 2023, Rowe became the primary African-American driver in history to win the North American Open Wheel Championship, winning the USF Pro 2000 title with a campaign that included five wins, nine podiums and 4 pole positions in 18 races.

“When we first heard about the possibility of bringing Myles and Force Indy on board, we were extremely excited,” said Abel.

“John and I have watched Myles for many years and watching his progress as a driver has been remarkable and we knew we wanted to be a part of it.”

“Not only are we looking for competitive drivers on the track, but we are looking for the right personality and presence off the track that will represent us well. Myles absolutely confirms this for us as well, so being excited about 2025 is an understatement.”

Rowe's first appearance with Abel Motorsports and Force Indy can be next month on the annual Chris Griffis Memorial Test on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on October 18.

“Our goal year over year is to run the most competitive program possible, and Myles will be a huge piece of that puzzle in 2025.” Brunner said. “2024 has really shown what this organization is able to but we’re at all times striving for more, Myles will bring a brand new perspective to the team and I believe combining him with our staff and Yuven (Sundaramoorthy) will make us way more competitive in 2025 .

Force Indy president Rod Reid added: “It is vital that the organization is interested not only in driver development, but also understands our mission to attract a wider audience to the sport. Abel has been a strong supporter of our efforts since opening Force Indy across the street from their store in 2020. We look forward to a successful season with them.”
