“I watched it since I used to be a toddler, and it began in 2009, after I won my first attempt after which it really looked as if it would me that my dream got here true. But now I got here here 10 times and reached for this big trophy and I’m still as completely satisfied as in 2009.

The head of the Toyota team, Jari-Matti Latvala, described the tenth victory of the stallion in Monte Carlo as a “unique” achievement.

“This means that you have been in the best form aged 20, 30 and 40, and this is a unique achievement for the athlete to be at the highest level for such a long time,” said Latvala.

“This is also why he is the world champion, he has some special skills that others do not have.”
