Cadillac and Jota have finalized the colours during which the 2 factory VR LMDh Series LMDhs will race within the World Endurance Championship this season.
The Cadillac Hertz Team Jota entries will take to the track in the identical “Hertz Racing Gold” livery because the British team's 2023-2024 customer Porsche 963.
The livery was unveiled on Monday in Paris at Cadillac's flagship electric vehicle showroom in Europe, adjoining to the Opera Garnier.
According to General Motors Europe managing director and president Pere Brugal, the stage on which the disclosing took place reflected Cadillac's “unwavering commitment to innovation and performance on the international stage.”
“As we expand our footprint in Europe, this partnership represents a powerful opportunity to showcase Cadillac's pioneering spirit in one of the most prestigious racing championships in the world,” he said.
Cadillac and Jota didn’t take the chance of the Paris livery launch to disclose the driving force mixtures for entries within the #12 and #38 Hypercar classes.
These will likely be announced at a later date, which needs to be before the tip of the month.
In mid-November, Cadillac revealed that Earl Bamber and Alex Lynn would join from Chip Ganassi Racing, which ran a solo Cadillac LMDh within the WEC in 2023-24, and Sebastien Bourdais would join from the North American program in an IMSA SportsCar Championship automobile.

Jenson Button, Will Stevens and Norman Nato, who previously raced her privateer Porsches, remain with Jota because it advances to factory status at Cadillac.
Jota has tested VR series devices twice to this point
In late November he tested the primary chassis on the Anneau du Rhin circuit in Alsace, France, before moving to Paul Ricard in December for 2 days of testing in the event automobile.
All six Jota Cadillac drivers were present for the Ricardo test.
Jota will test in Abu Dhabi later this month ahead of the beginning of the WEC season, which begins with official Prologue testing on the weekend before the season opener on February 28 on the Losail International Circuit in Qatar.
“We're learning a lot, but there's more to learn,” said Jota founder Sam Hignett.
“We entered Ricard into the night and drove about several thousand kilometers.”
