Mark Winterbottom and Tickford Racing will reunite in 2025, with the recently retired full-time Supercars driver returning to his old squad as an endurance co-driver.
The former Supercars champion and Bathurst 1000 winner will partner Cam Waters in certainly one of the team's Ford Mustangs at The Bend 500 and Bathurst 1000 next yr, leaving Waters' long-time co-driver James Moffat to maneuver on to a different team entry and be joined by Thomas Randle .
The 43-year-old experienced driver will even tackle a mentoring role and work with the three-car Super2 team. Winterbottom was the product of Ford's own development series, having first worked with the brand as a young kart driver greater than 20 years ago.

Winterbottom joined the team, then often known as Ford Performance Racing, in 2006 and remained with the team until the top of 2017, when he moved to the Team 18 line-up. He won the 2013 Bathurst 1000 title, the 2013 Supercars title with Tickford and associated teams in 2015 and a complete of 38 races in 645 profession starts.

“It's an honor to return to such a competitive team that has two great opportunities ahead: to win enduro with Cam and to assist shape the long run of the game. Cam is probably the greatest drivers in his field.
“I’ll support him 100% – if he wins, we win. That's the purpose. I'm excited to enrich his incredible speed with my experience and help Tickford fight for the highest step of the rostrum.”
Winterbottom announced his retirement from full-time Supercars competition in October after losing his Team 18 drive to Anton de Pasquale and failing to secure one other everlasting stint.
Winterbottom finished his final season as a full-time Supercars driver ending fifteenth overall within the championship, driving for Team 18. His campaign included second-place finishes at Albert Park in Melbourne and Hidden Valley Raceway in Darwin.
