F1 Academy points leader Abbi Pulling was fastest on Friday within the all-women Formula E test at Jarama.
The electric vehicle championship tested exclusively for female drivers, and all 11 Formula E teams were required to field at the least one driver as a complete of 18 of them tried the brand new Gen3 Evo machines.
Pulling, who could win the F1 Academy title at the subsequent round in Qatar, which is able to give her a fully-funded entry into next season's British GB3 championship, clocked 1:30.889 in the ultimate 60 minutes of the three-hour session.
The outing was her first start in a Formula E automobile, and after only one session her best lap left her just 4.5 seconds behind the fastest time of the four-day pre-season test, set by Jaguar's Mitch Evans on Friday morning. .
Three-time W Series champion Jamie Chadwick finished second, together with her final effort leaving her 0.320s behind Pulling.

McLaren's Bianca Bustamante became the primary driver to go below the 1:32s barrier within the second hour, with the F1 Academy driver ending the session in third position, 0.826s behind Pulling.
Miki Koyama also improved with a final try and finish fourth for Lola with Sauber Academy driver Lena Buhler (Mahindra), while Beitske Visser finished in the highest six for DS Penske.
The run in the ultimate hour was abandoned after F1 Academy driver Jessica Edgar found the barriers in Jean-Eric Vergne's DS Penske at Turn 3, prompting a red flag because the automobile was retired to the pits.
Simona de Silvestro returned to Formula E after competing in 12 races between 2014 and 2016 within the Gen1 era with Andretti.
The Swiss-Italian, who was Porsche's reserve driver in Formula E, drove for customer team Kiro but only accomplished six laps resulting from technical problems.
Jaguar's second driver, Lilou Wadoux, was the one driver who was unable to finish a lap in any respect, as seat problems prevented her from taking to the track.
A Jaguar spokesman said: “Lilou Wadoux visited our site in Kidlington each to suit the seat and test it in our simulator. Unfortunately, when Lilou hopped into the Jaguar I-TYPE 7 for a final pedal check here in Madrid, her seat wasn't as comfortable as she would have liked. We are investigating the rationale why seat fit was not consistent.
“We are all really disappointed that Lilou was unable to take part in the women's test session as we know she is a fantastic race driver with an incredible talent who has made a positive impression on the team this week. “Lilou will have another chance to support the team and test the Jaguar I-TYPE in the future.”
