PlayStation 5 Pro update for Gran Turismo 7 made its public debut at Tokyo Games Show 2

Just days after revealing the console and game update, PlayStation has announced plans to launch Gran Turismo 7The PlayStation 5 Pro version might be available for public trial on the Tokyo Games Show later this month.

GT7 might be certainly one of the primary titles to receive a special “PlayStation 5 Pro Enhanced” patch, which is able to allow it to reap the benefits of the console’s recent graphical capabilities when it launches on November 7. The game will receive several visual improvements that may improve its already impressive visuals.

These include real-time ray-tracing effects on the track that may cause vehicles to bounce off their glossier surfaces, providing greater immersion. After initially showing up on YouTube earlier this month, Digital Foundry analyzed the higher-quality ProRes footage and located that these reflections are near HD quality — 1080p.

While the sport's native resolution drops as a consequence of the expensive nature of RT, that's made up for by a brand new AI upscaling technology called PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution, or PSSR. Additionally, each DF and CNET have reported the existence of an 8K version Gran Turismo 7 works on PS5 Pro.

The query stays which of those might be the version available to the general public at TGS, which might be held on the Makuhari Messe (Japan Convention Center) in Chiba City, near Tokyo. However, just one booth is working and it would be available on the general public days of Saturday, September 28 and Sunday, September 29.

We don't know yet when the free PS5 Pro Enhanced update might be available Gran Turismo 7 might be made available, but bearing in mind the console release date and the standard rhythm GT7The updates will likely arrive on or around Thursday, October twenty fourth. Any September updates have yet to be announced — although there was no content update in August — but that may likely be too far-off from the Pro launch for an enhanced update to make sense.

Interestingly, TGS coincides with the ultimate live round of the Gran Turismo World Series, on the Kabukicho Tower in Tokyo, 20 miles west-northwest. While that event can be open to the general public — and to a sold-out crowd — there’s no sign it’s tied to the launch of the PlayStation 5 Pro.

However, we expect to listen to more about “My first Gran Turismo” on the event on Saturday, September 28, but anyway, stay tuned to this space for more details.
