Third-year Williams student Zak O'Sullivan has parted ways with ART resulting from financial issues ahead of this weekend's Azerbaijan round.
After ending second in Formula 3 last season with Prema, O'Sullivan has signed with ART to team up with Victor Martins for the 2024 season.
Having claimed a breakthrough victory within the Monaco essential race thanks, by his own admission, to favourable circumstances, the 19-year-old repeated that success within the much-delayed Belgian reverse-start sprint, which saw just three laps accomplished before the red flags were brought out resulting from deteriorating conditions.
The 35 points total made up nearly all of his 59. The 2021 Aston Martin Autosport BRDC Young Driver of the Year winner needed to contend with a difficult rookie experience, ending thirteenth overall with just five other points scored.

“We had some amazing moments this yr, we had loads of victories, and the largest achievement was winning the essential race in Monaco.

“Unfortunately, in our sport there are other aspects at play than simply the stopwatch. It comes all the way down to an easy matter of financing, I is not going to have the opportunity to complete this F2 season with ART GP.
“I’m devastated that I is not going to have the opportunity to showcase my talent for the remaining of the yr, but I would like to thank all my sponsors, the Williams Racing team and all of the fans who’ve been with me on this journey.

ART has not yet confirmed who will replace the Briton for the remaining of the F2 season.
After the ultimate race in Monza, where the Formula 3 season ended, the team could determine to advertise Laurens van Hoepen, Nikola Tsolov or Tuukka Taponen, who replaced Tsolov in Belgium when the Bulgarian was sidelined.
However, he cannot profit from his highest scorer, Christian Mansell, who has already joined Trident within the remaining competitions, replacing Roman Stanek.
